DIRECTOR JPRC

SR. GRACE KITINISA CSC

She belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross

She works as the Director at JPRC. She has a wide experience in Social Work of around 15 years of service in a number of communities in Uganda and USA. She has participated in a number of Socio-economic, Spiritual and Psychosocial programs that have made her an expert of social work and social development. Sr. Grace Holds Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Social Administration from the University of Kisubi. She holds a Diploma in Social Administration and currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from World Academy based in United Kingdom. Sr. Grace has many other certificates in various areas including, Social development, Administration, Theology, Philosophy, Store management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Computerized Accounting, Website design and management, Leadership and Youth Ministry. Given her religious status, Sr. Grace, continues to present a wide local and international experience towards serving God’s people in various capacities. The wider experience has made her to be a mentor with flexibility and dedication towards changing lives in the communities and the society at large.

Consultant - JPRC

SR. ANGELICA BIRUNGI CSC

She belongs to the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross and she is one of the oldest African Sisters who joined the Congregation around 1990s. She has a wide experience working as a religious sister and she has experience from a number of ministries in Uganda and USA. She has participated in the social-economic transformation of the communities through health intervention. She is currently attached to JPRC to oversee health needs of the clients admitted for rehabilitation at JPRC. Sr. Angelica has training in Midwifery and she holds other Certificates in health and Social Work. Sr. Angelica’s wider experiences have made her a beckon for the vulnerable and less privileged in the communities she serves.

MR. MUTABINGWA JOSEPH

Mr. Mutabingwa Joseph’s interests lies into a multi-disciplinary approach including; education management, research, project planning and implementation, human rights (women, youth and children) peace and justice (peace building and conflict management), environmental conservation ventures, governance and leadership (with passion on the inclusion of women and youth), development and community sensitization and/or facilitating processes to foster community development changes through socio-economic transformation ventures.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration and Planning also from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) based in Nairobi-Kenya. Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA). He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts with the specialization in Social Sciences, Philosophy and Religious Studies from Uganda Martyrs University–Nkozi, Uganda. Joseph has others Certificates in Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, Leadership, Social Work, Peace Studies, Communication, Counseling, Life Skills, Trauma Management, Proposal Development, Project planning, QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper and a consultant in a number of areas especially in development work and Education. The wider experience has made him a life changer contributing towards the development in the community especially raising the marginalized. Joseph, envisions to take JPRC to the higher heights through all the program areas that JPRC is engaged in Rwenzori region and beyond.

Rehabilitation & Reintegration Officer

Mr. Mugabe Paschal

Mugabe Paschal works as the Rehabilitation & Reintegration Officer at JPRC. He has about 30 years of Social Work where he has worked in a number of Countries with diverse communities. He has participated in a number of Socio-economic, Spiritual and Psychosocial programs that have made him an expert in community. With Theological, Philosophical, and Social Communication background, he is a mediator, researcher, motivation speaker, businessman and sustainable peace builder professional. He underwent Human Rights training based approach to extreme poverty.

Paschal holds three degrees, two diplomas and various certificates, from various fields and disciplines. He has a masters of Arts in Peace studies and International Relations from Hekima Institute of Peace Studies and International Relations, a Constituent College of Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya.  B.A in Baccelerate Theology from Tangaza University College, a constituent College of the Catholic University of Eastern African; BA in Philosophy from Urban University, Rome, Diploma in Philosophy from Philosophical Centre of Jinja, Uganda (PCJ)and a Diploma in Social Communication.  He has Certificates in: Human Rights, certificate in Computerized Accountancy from Nairobi Business Institute Services (NBIS), certificate in certificate in Life Gardener (organic gardening, nutrition, natural medicine by Thrive Africa, certificate in QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Program, from QPR Institute, presented by Sr. Veronica A. Fajardo, CSC. LCSW, QRP Certified Gatekeeper Instructor and certificate in PSM from BMCI, Uganda Martyrs University, Fort Portal Campus.

Paschal is a trainer of trainers in his fields of study. He is a specialist in knowledge about anti-terrorism, de-radicalization and ant-human trafficking, especially among the youth and women. In additional, he is trainer and consultant on entrepreneurship, skilling, peace, mediation, governance, gender, human rights, advocacy and related field in the grassroots.

PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR - JPRC

KINTU TEDDY

She has about 18 years of experience as a Social Worker, the position she has held for a long time and in a number of organizations. She has been involved in the transformation of communities focusing to the social, economic, spiritual and psychological wellbeing of clients she has handled in a number of organizations at different levels.  Teddy, holds Bachelors’ Degree in Community Psychology from Makerere University and a Certificate in HIV/AIDS Counseling from Uganda Martyrs University. She has other certificates in the areas of Gender operation services, Gender norms and Gender Based Violence, comprehensive nutrition care for the people living with HIV/AIDS, participated in the 7th Pan African Social Work conference, and Certificate in Gender Student Peer Training. The articulated experience has enabled Teddy to offer professional Counseling sessions to the clients with great understanding, dedication, and professionalism in trauma recovery and resilience building for survivors of severe human rights violations, including human trafficking and gender-based violence.  At JPRC, she envisions her roles in integral healing model where she has provided to clients with essential individual and group therapy, conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, and develop personalized care plans that address complex trauma issues, anxiety, depression, and the profound loss of identity experienced by survivors. Teddy is focused to continue offering Trauma Therapy, Psychosocial Assessment, Group Facilitation, Crisis Intervention, Staff Support & Training, Cultural Adaptation of Therapeutic Models while causing change in the lives of the clients served at JPRC and beyond.

Trainer - JPRC

Morgan Kalangwa

Kalangwa Morgan works as a trainer at JPRC. He holds Diploma in Social Work and Social Development from Nsamizi Training Institute.  He also holds a Certificate in Fashion and Designs. This experience has made him to have the capacity to address the social issues with great knowledge and understanding surrounding individuals, families and communities. Morgan, has worked with a number of organizations training youth of different categories. Morgan is highly focused and meticulous to address individual community needs and promote community justice especially this has been realized through the skilling of youth and other vulnerable communities. He has also been involved in the training of life skills and counseling of the youth especially those that have been under his skilling programs. Morgan, envisions contributing towards the growth of the youth, and women especially survivors of human trafficking through skilling and life skills hence their transformation.

MATRON - JPRC

KANYUNYUZI FLORENCE

She holds a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) which she attained in 2018 from Maddox Secondary School Butiiti in Kyenjojo District. She has held leadership positions in her community and while she was at school. Florence’s interests and passion is hinged towards causing change in the lives of those she encounters at different levels with understanding and cooperation. Her experience obtained from the leadership positions she has held and the community experience has made her an individual who is compassionate, supportive and empathic towards the clients that are served at JPRC. Florence, envisions involving creativity and innovations while taking care of the client’s victims of human trafficking, GBV and other forms of human rights abuses.

MUMBER GERALD ANINIAH

He holds a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) which she attained in 2013 from Bwera Secondary School Kasese District. He also has a Certificate in Moderation and Media production, Certificate in gardening from Thrive for Africa, he has also attended Lake Katwe Technical Institute. He has attained security trainings which has given him experience to take care of security roles and responsibilities at JPRC. Gerald ensure the security of the clients that come for rehabilitation at JPRC. Gerald envisions ensuring that security at JPRC is maintained all the time for the both the people and property at JPRC. He believes in the safety of all and everything that is under his custody.

BABIRYE LYDIA

She holds a Certificate in Midwifery from Uganda Martyrs Schools of nursing –Kaliro. Hold Uganda Certificate of Education from Kidiki Secondary School in Kamuli District. She has also held leadership positions especially while at school and at their local parish. Lydia’s passion is hinged towards service beyond self and also she is interested in creating impact in the life of those that she come across with love and compassion. Her experience, obtained from the training of Midwifery has made her an individual who compassionate, supportive and focused to cause change around her and the community.  She offers her services to JPRC, especially offering great support to the component of health. She is currently a postulant with the Sisters of the Holy Cross.
