JPRC  train the youth in the fields of green energy skills (vegetable growing, floriculture, bee keeping,  juice/wine processing), that are relevant and income generating to the rehabilitated victims of human rights in Fort Portal diocese, Rwenzori region and nationally. The duration of the skilling courses range from the period of 6 to 1 year. The trainees are subjected to the national assessment by the Directorate of Industrial training (DIT) which is the department under the Ministry of Education and Sports that authenticate their skills for employment.
  4. Imparting 21st Century life Skills to the youth and other individuals. As part of rehabilitation activities, JPRC will conduct a number of trainings and sessions that will train youth and other victims in various life skills at given periods of time. It is well known that most youth and other people find difficulties in life as a result of lacking life skills. All rehabilitated and skilled individuals will be subjected to various life skill sessions that will empower them to face the world with new approaches and synergy. At a later stage, leadership training programs for the youth and other lay Christians will be introduced and Christian leaders from the church categories of leadership will also be given an opportunity to receive leadership training from the centre..
  5. Empowerment Programs. JPRC offer entrepreneurship skills training programs for all youth that go through various trainings at the Centre. It has also been realized that one can be skilled but if they lack entrepreneurships skills they can still fail to begin their businesses and/or to be self-employed. In doing this, JPRC partner with other stakeholders who are involved in training and skilling the youth for economic development and reduction of the unemployment levels and crime reduction. In general, the entrepreneurships skills lead to many beneficiaries of self-development by making them important individuals in the community.
