About

Sisters of the Holy Cross Justice, Peace and Rehabilitation Centre

In response to a big social welfare gap in Uganda and an increase in psychosocial and mental health cases arising from human rights and substance abuse, labor migration, unemployment and a breakdown of the social fabric, we members of the Justice and Peace Ministry of the Congregation of the Holy Cross publicly come together to build Sisters of the Holy Cross Justice, Peace and Rehabilitation Centre (JPRC) as a Non-Government Organization. We resolved to form an NGO with an aim transforming lives of the marginalized and vulnerable young people in Uganda. And so the members of the Sisters of the Holy Cross Justice, Peace and Rehabilitation Centre are determined to work dynamically, positively, efficiently and effectively so as to improve the psychosocial welfare and mental health of the victims of human rights and substance abuse, labor exploitation and unemployment in Uganda. We will support them through provision of rehabilitation services, skilling, counselling and prayer and promotion of other activities as provided by the objectives of this organization.
